I love having rechargeable air pumps just in case my power goes out cause that has happened to me multiple times. I had to run to the pet store and buy battery powered air pumps and although they work pretty well you cannot beat being able to recharge the air pumps and they are portable. I'm actually using this air pump full time leaving it plugged in. It works perfectly and the price is amazing. When not plugged in it lasts for a very long time I absolutely love this product and so do my fish. It comes with air line, accessories, and air stones. Literally everything you need to get started and it's all great quality. I would absolutely recommend this product for someone looking for a great air pump but also someone looking for a dependable/rechargeable air pump for emergencies. This air pump is amazing definitely A+++

I tested the Devopet battery powered aquarium air pump with a bait tray I use for fishing trips. This is a great pump for travel. It is also inexpensive. The air flow is good and it functions well for transporting fish. The battery life is long. It has lasted almost a day for me which is way more time needed as I have only transferred short distances like 20-30 minutes. It is not loud and does not bother.

reasonably quiet stays charged for a long time the description is true and it’s pretty small and compact. Airflow is perfect. Power level is good for 5 gallon tanks small fish breeding or even beta.

This little air pump has been a lifesaver! I bought it for my bait bucket and backup for my aquarium during power outages, and it works great. It's super easy to use, charges quickly with the USB cable, and stays quiet while running. The included accessories are good quality too. It’s compact but powerful enough to keep my fish healthy when needed. Definitely recommend for anyone needing a portable, rechargeable option!

OVERALL: Steady and intermittent air flow options. Automactially swithces to battery when senses a lack of AC (outlet) power, EVEN WHEN OFF, which is handy. Very quite.SOUND: Very quite, I was able to sleep with it on no problem. I had to double check if it was on or not by looking for bubbles, it’s that quite.PRICE: Rechargable air pumps are going to be more than the battery ones, but I find that the durability and quailty is better with the rechargable. They are certaintly quiter. I think the extra price is worth it, and this price isn’t too bad. Right now it is listed at 18.99, with a 20% off coupon, and that makes it a solid price.BEST OF TWO TYPES OF AIR PUMPS.1. The rechargable via USB air pump, that switches to internal battery when the power goes out.-Allows for uninterrupted use.2.The kind that turns ON when AC (outlet) power is lost.-Runs as an automatic backup, without needing to be on all the time.I turned this unit off via the button, and then decided to unplug the cord, since it can be bad for the battery or something. To my surprise, the pump turned back on.Why would you want kind #2? I have an internal filter made from a plastic protein powder tub. Slot cut at the bottom front, jammed with a filter sponge. Then fill the thing with media. Hole in the lid for a powerhead to sit in. Since this is my main biological filter, it is important that the bacteria always have water flow. Having an airstone in the bottom of the filter all the time would lead to air getting sucked into the pump, which it doesn’t like, and is noisy. With this type of air pump however, I can have it hooked up to the airstone and plugged in, but turned off. If the power goes out, this will turn on, keeping my bacteria, and thus my fish, alive.

It works well, it's nothing super powerful, but it does what it's supposed to. This would be something for short term use while transporting livestock if I had to pin it down to a niche.It does work while plugged in to a USB charger. According to instructions it will click over to battery in the event of power outage as well. So that's cool. Two modes of operation. Constant, and 30 second intervals. The latter is meant to save battery life.It's pretty quiet, you can hear it but it's not obnoxious, it's got some rubber feet to keep it off of hard surfaces and stop noise transmission.For a compact air pump I can't make any complaints in operation, but the instructions are a bit lacking.Overall, it works well.
