I have this one and it pushes the water out so hard that my entire 10 gallon tank is covered in bubbles. I just attached it to a little treasure chest and now it’s sending out these massive bubbles it’s rocking the whole tank. Is this normal? Suggestions?

Box says Powerful aquarium air pump. nonsense! will only pump air down under the water 2 or 3 inches. will not work in my 5 gallon tank. Bought it for % gallon tank I was going to build and ordered it along with other things I would need on (6-3-18). Tank done today 8-19-18 and will not work. To late to return. Did not cost much but wasn't asking it to do much ether. Seller could make it right any way...or not.
