4. We made a 6061 aluminum {No steel} battery compartment to mount on the frame and pendulum tube. You can then reuse the original battery cover, cover, and strap to install the battery.
5. To restore power, we have provided a beautiful terminal block and a new heavy-duty battery cable to connect the power from the original location to the new battery location.

This idea behind moving the battery is great! But…the new battery box I received did not except the original battery size of my 2018 Polaris Sportsman 570 (same as the Polaris battery in my 2014 Polaris Sportsman 570). I decided to install anyways, but had to spend quite a bit of time to grind out the corner section inside the box to get the battery to drop in. The battery itself was about 1/8”-3/16” too wide to fit into place. All up, Polaris should have never designed the original placement of a battery where it is so hard to get at!
