I replaced the gauge on the front of my grill and it works just fine.

I know this thermometer is not designed for my Weber grill (you can see the outline of the previous one's bezel in the picture). But, it works fine anyway. The thermocouple/probe/whatever, that sticks through the lid had the same diameter as the original one and the wing nut threaded without issue. I don't necessarily recommend getting this for a 15 year old Weber Genesis like mine, but it does work.

I neglected to read the listing and ordered this replacement thermostat because the one on my barbecue stopped working 2 years ago.Not realizing it was designed for Weber products, I was surprised that it did not quite fit my Char-Broil. That being said, it only took a couple of minor modifications for it to fit.The thermostat itself is well made and works as it should. It displays a fairly accurate temperature without any build up of moisture or condensation inside the glass. The stainless steel is good quality and durable.This is a really good replacement thermostat for Weber products. I am happy to award it five stars.
