Ok for shade and wind resistant. Only received 7 grass stakes and we were supposed to get 8. We plan to set it up on our lawn and 8 stakes would be better. No response from company after letting them know about missing stake. This is a updated review. A few days after contacting customer service they contacted me and said they would send the missing part. In less then a week I received a replacement. Excellent customer service. We have set up the sun shade a few times now, on our lawn, and it is working well to provide shade. This summer we will be using it at the beach. We think with the pockets filled with sand it will work even better.

F L girl here... So take my avid beach going advice *without a grain of salt*.I have autoimmune issues and beach trips become nightmares after 30 mins. We typically use an umbrella yet its actually rather awkward and annoying to set up. I personally don't bring it if I am on my own. Finally had a sunny day today (In march yes lol) and headed to the beach. The carrying case is nice enough to continue using. Sometimes that's not always possible as the case isn't the main character. Yet this one is decent and the zipper/handles seem solid. The canopy is super easy to set up. It takes longer than an umbrella yet the stress factor isn't the same. I don't need to force anything forcefully to get this canopy up. *Unlike my dang umbrella*Its design is neat. Has a lot of legs. Which is new compared to many other models offered. I believe it would be fantastic for heavy winds. I can't say for sure as it was such a gorgeous day out when we went.Overall a *must have* for the beach. This is a great price, well made with extra legs and shipped extremely fast. So you can't really go wrong.

This beach tent ain’t no joke—it’s like setting up your own slice of shade paradise in minutes. Took it to the shore last weekend, and it held up like a champ even with some strong winds and kids wildin’ underneath it. That stretch fabric doesn’t flap around like cheap tarps. It hugs the wind and just stays posted like a solid dude in a windbreaker. It packs small too—super light, tosses in the trunk without that wrestling match you get from clunky umbrellas. The sandbags and pegs? Life-savers when folks start kicking sand everywhere. I buried ‘em deep and the tent stayed grounded, even when my toddler tried to run with one of the poles.Once you fill those bags and stake it out, you’ve got a legit chill zone. Eight of us camped under there for hours, from sandwiches to naps. Kept the sunburn away and didn’t trap heat like those dark-colored canopies. You can also tilt the legs to block out the sun depending on where it’s aiming. It’s one of those things you don’t realize you need until you’re under it wondering why you ever used those janky beach umbrellas in the first place.

This pop-up canopy went from box to beach fortress faster than I can say SPF. It pops open smooth and locks into place without wrestling poles for half an hour. The UPF50+ fabric actually blocks harsh sun rays, so you can lounge without looking like a crispy burrito later.Sandbags, stakes, and poles come in the bag like a beach party starter kit. I pegged it down next to my cooler, and that thing didn’t budge—even when the ocean breeze turned into a mini gale. The canopy’s height and angle adjust on the fly, so I could chase shade as the sun dipped. The lycra fabric feels tough but flexible, shrugging off whipping winds instead of tearing into confetti. When the day’s done, I collapse it back into the travel bag in seconds. It fits neat in my trunk alongside surfboards and beach chairs.Whether you’re chilling by the surf or casting lines off the shore, this shade shelter brings the chill without the sweat. It’s the kinda setup that makes your crew look like they roll with the big leagues.

We pulled up to the beach like pros with this blue canopy. It popped open easy and covered enough space for me, my crew, two coolers, and a whole snack table. I ain’t saying we were the main attraction… but people definitely side-eyed us with shade envy.Setup was light work—two people max. Dumped some sand in the built-in bags, adjusted the poles for the sun’s position, and just chilled. Wind kicked up a bit mid-afternoon but that triangle frame stayed locked in.It folds down into a compact bag, no dragging around a big awkward tent. The material feels durable too, not that cheap mesh stuff that tears when you sneeze near it. Handled sun, sand, and a toddler tugging on one corner like a champ. If you’re a beach regular or festival hopper, this thing sets you up right. Looks clean, sets up quick, and blocks UVs like it owes you money.

We brought this along on our beach trip just in case we would need it. Luckily for us the beach was nice and sunny and this came in handy. Surprisingly it was a lot easier to setup than we thought it was going to be. We set this up right before lunch and it stayed up until we left, which was around dinner. Even with the breeze and then wind, this tent stayed up the whole time. While we didn't have too much water to deal with, when the marine layer started coming in, the mist from that did get on the tent and we just watched it bead right off of this tent, so definitely mist/waterproof. The material itself is very light weight and does allow a nice flow of air to come through. While it did shade us from the sun, there was still some visibility underneath. The one thing I was afraid of was the sand tearing up the bagging area and it sticking to the material. Neither of these has happened. I also found that this works great at the park. While we have more beach trips planned this summer, not only can I not wait, but for now, its been working at the park and even in our backyard!
