I feel no pain on my ankles and it supports my back like non other I have had. perfect for anyone who wants to meditate. the collar is lighter which made it even better upon arrival. I would say it is certainly a must have for every place.

Less than two weeks after the buckwheat-filled Zafu was delivered, I developed a stuffy nose. After 6 months of feeling miserable, we finally figured out the cause was an allergy to BUCKWHEAT. My symptoms became severe enough to warrant a 10-day regime of antibiotics and prednisone and a CT Scan that finally ruled out Sinusitis. Fortunately, we were able to trace the onset of my symptoms to the arrival of the buckwheat-filled Zafu.

For those who prefer the buckwheat-stuffed zafu (the sitting cushion), this is a very well-made one. You can remove the excess buckwheat to get to the thickness you prefer, and I took out nearly 50% of it - making me think that few folks if anyone would need more buckwheat/thicker zafu than this one. The material is coarser than others, but I like it and seems very durable. The zabutan (the mat) is solid and comfortable.

I love the zafu and zabuton set. Maybe it was the humidity where I live but tiny bugs started coming out of the zafu's buckwheat hulls after a few months of use - some kind of really tiny barklice or booklice would crawl out between stitchings on the zafu seams. I did some research online that indicated that bugs (like tiny booklice) getting attracted to organic (i.e. not chemically treated) buckwheat hulls. I consulted some online suggestions by emptying out the hulls and baked them in an oven at 120degC to kill the bugs, then washed the cushion covering (following the washing instruction on the label) in cold water. Seemed to have worked and stopped the infestation for the time being. Keeping my fingers crossed and staying vigilant.

Perfect for daily meditation, This is our second set from Bean. We really like that it is made in the USA. It is very durable and works well in our meditation room. We chose the orange color to give homage to the Buddhist monks. But we also have one in khaki which is a little less noticeable.

Came way ahead of schedule!Been using it for a week and so far no complaints. Iβm a large person and it just fits my total imprint. Makes meditation enjoyable compared to just sitting on a floor

This really helps me to stay in better posture. These cushions decrease the numbness I felt on my knees and lower legs. I am so glad I made this purchase. I love this product.

I feel better about my meditation on the Zafu and Zebuton. Helps to make it more of a serious endeavor. The only thing I would say is, check the dimensions to see if you really want the large Zafu, it was much bigger than I thought. I think I would have been fine with the normal sized one, who knows.
