The bolts to the flagpole do match the thread pitch of the drilled holes. I got about one turn in before realizing that it was not going to work. When I tried to back the thumb screw out, it sheared off. Going to have to drill and tap a secondary hole. Not the end of the world, but this seems like something that shouldn't be hard to get right the first time from the seller. Disappointed is an understatement. Thought this was going to be a straight forward install not a diy and trip to the hardware store.

The bolts broke off because the threads are not good and the screw knows didn't fit so they broke off, shouldn't have to tap a new product. Junk

I use this as a way to strap things in as well as hold my flags. Very useful and easy to install.

Seems sturdy enough. Two problems I had. The thumb screws stripped immediately and no Allen wrench was supplied for the mounting screws.
