There's a slight delay after power is applied before the vibration starts. I have it plugged into a govee smart plug pro (matter) to use with home assistant. 1 second activation is too short to get any vibration...2 seconds is a little blip of vibration...2.5 seconds seems too long with the first of three pulses. Difficult to get 3 equal pulses for a wakeup call for dad. It's a good strong vibration that can be felt on top of a water bed (7 tubes) when placed under the tube holder above the base box frame.

I wasn’t sure how this would work, but it is very effective at waking my mom, who is unable to hear. Very pleased.
