I have bought Bee 140 lb 100% cotton watercolor paper many times at Amazon. It is my daily go-to watercolor paper. I didn’t even know Bee made a 90 lb 100% cotton paper. I take partial blame for not paying attention, but the weight is not prominently displayed in the ad so I lay some blame on them. Update: I updated it to 3 stars. For such a lightweight paper it handles pretty well for what I do, mostly line and wash. I doubt it will handle well wet on wet nor take much (any) scrubbing. I doubt I buy this weight of paper again.

This is great practice paper. I accidentally ordered the wrong weight but it still got the jibe done. I’ve already ordered more.

This version of their paper is too thin for serious work. It doesn't absorb water as well and if you happen to use too much water and work areas too often the paper will start to curl and create little balls of pulp. Absolutely not made for any serious work. It's perhaps good for quick pieces but keep in mind that you want to go for thicker/heavier paper.

I was pleasantly surprised at how nice this paper is. I bought one of the sketchbooks with this paper and remove the pages from the book, wet the back, tape down with strong artists tape, then wet the front. I do my wet on wet washes and let it dry or dry with a hair dryer. It dries perfectly flat and accepts several more layers of color. I bought it for doing small practice pieces and for testing colors before tackling larger paintings but have found it works great for creating small paintings. I prefer these sheets over the perforated sketchbook sheets as they are more economical and I was tearing the sheets out of the sketchbook anyway.

I had the exact same paper but the old paper was much better .. this batch was not the same texture and did not absorb the watercolor .

So I’m not a professional watercolorist - I guess it depends on what your definition of a professional is. I wish I could get this paper in the larger size - but it always seems to be sold out - because of that, I’m limited on what I can paint. Now it doesn’t stay wet as long as arches, so you definitely either work fast, or let the layer dry completely and go back in over the top. I find adding a little extra water upfront gives me more time to charge. I like the feel of the paper - probably not best if you want to add more than five layers. The paper is a little sensitive to scrubbing, so you have to be cognizant of that. Like I said, I love this paper for watercolor, but due to size limitation, it’s not something I can use from a professional standpoint - again - professional is in the eye of the beholder. It’s a shame, great watercolor paper to practice in for charging.

This is the only paper i will paint on for "practice" as the quality is so high, its on par with brands like Langston etc. can't wait till it comes back into stock i need like another 200 sheets of this stuff. It also great value for money, 50 sheets is such a good deal for quality paper and i really hope it comes back into stock soon.(This was recommended to me by Emily Artful on youtube, highly recommend her channel if you like watercolor)

Love this paper, good for watercolor swatches and floral watercolor painting as it has a nice tooth. But it will will not be able to take too much water. Would love to try the 140 lb (300 gsm) Bee paper.

A very decent quality 100% cotton watercolor paper for not a lot of $$. It's nice to practice on, or to seriously paint on without having to spend a fortune. I'm a longtime watercolor artist and paper is the most important supply for making successful watercolor art, so this would also be a good paper for beginners who aren't sure they're ready to invest a lot in supplies while they get the hang of the medium.Update: I was hoping to buy this again, but it's no longer available and can't find it anywhere. :(I have really grown to love this paper. It's perfect for watercolor pencils as well as traditional watercolor painting, and I get professional results with it. It can take a beating as well, erasing, scrubbing, lots of water, etc.,...Only thing I don't like about it is that it has a repetitive texture on one side, which I think is the side you are supposed to paint on, and it makes it look sort of cheap. I don't like that, so I flip it over to the other side and paint. The other side has a very subtle, random texture that I prefer. I have gotten really good and professional results painting on the back side. Sure hope they bring this paper back, I'm down to about 25 sheets of the 50 sheet pack.Update: It's back!!! It was out of stock for a long time during COVID, I just ordered more and received it. It's still the same great quality paper. Thank you for bringing it back!

it folded a little at the corner during shipping but was easy to fix. I'm only a beginner for drawing but it's a good quality to me. it cannot take heavy wash but it's normal for 90lb paper. and for my drawing style it's ok. (I cut the paper to half) I was looking for a cheaper 100% cotton paper. this is perfect for me!

This is the first time I've purchased this product and it seems to be good quality paper for the price. Holds up pretty good to a lot of water. It is a small paper, good for practicing or a perfect size for making cards. My only complaint is that I only received 49 papers, not 50. I recounted a few times to make sure I wasn't mistaken. I'm not really sure how to contact the seller about this but I will revise my review if I can get it sorted out with the,
