Our Company History

In 1928, at the age of twenty-two, Peter Beilenson began printing books on a small press in the basement of his parents’ home in Larchmont, New York. Peter—and later, his wife, Edna—sought to create fine books that sold at ''prices even a pauper could afford.''

Today, still family owned and operated, Peter Pauper Press continues to honor our founders’ legacy—and our customers’ expectations—of beauty, quality, and value.

Really like these transfers! I’m sure there are several variables that affect how many times they can be re-used, but I’m using cotton broadcloth and ironing for probably 10 seconds. I wanted to see how far one would go, and I got 8 iron ons before I noticed the ink was starting to change color just a little, like I’m finally starting to exhaust the ink supply!I just noticed that nobody seemed to mention how many impressions they’re getting off each print. The lines don’t need to be dark! Just, solid and clear. I am THRILLED with the re-use, this means I can confidently order for a class of 8.I think I bought every design they have.

The designs are perfect for hoop embroidery. I am using them as gifts to family members and friends. Iron-on transfers are good for multiple designs, if you make light transfers. Lines transfer well. They are thick enough to see but not so thick that you have to use a lot of floss to cover them.

All ten designs are really good. The ironing process was very quick and easy. Good transfer of the image. I'm glad I put an old cloth under the linen, I was printing on. The ink did go through to the cloth, so it saved my ironing board. Looking forward to trying one of the other designs.

I’m very new to embroidery, I had only made 2 hoops before this one & found the iron on transfers easy to use and easy to follow! I have a few sets now & just love them! Definitely recommend! Can’t beat the price!

Cute designs. Had trouble with the transfer. One smeard while transfer was pinned down, the second barely transferred at all. Neither transferred a second time, so the multiple transfers for sets didn’t happen.
