Nice and proper upgraded ground clamp for you lower cost welder that came with a flimsy clamp. This is a heavy sprung clamp with proper braided strap that pulls the ground connection to both halves of the clamp. Overall, this is a great upgrade.

I'm using this Belomi grounding clamp to upgrade/replace the existing one on my flux core welder (Chicago Electric 125A). The clamp that came with it works, but it's not the best. This Belomi is definitely an upgrade and for the price ($8.99 at the time of this review), I considered it a steal and well worth it. This clamp opens further than the original one, and it also has a better clamping force which should give it a better grounding connection. When I got the clamp, initially I was impressed. However, as I dug into it, there were a couple areas that could use improvements. The rubber handles slide on and off too easily. I fixed this by adding heat shrink to the handles, then putting the rubber handles back on, and then another layer of heat shrink over top of that. I used 1 1/4" marine grade shrink tube and it worked like a charm. The hardware for the cable connection wasn't the best, so I used a different lug. The one it comes with will work, but I chose to use something different with a full ring around the wire and crimped it solid. The clamp also has a ground jumper that goes from one side to the other, and on the one side, it's a square headed bolt. On the other side, it's a ground down carriage bolt. It works, but I'll probably replace that soon too.I'm only knocking off one star for the above issues as they were easily fixed with stuff I had laying around, and for the price I really can't complain.
