Worked great on the harbor freight angle grinder I bought just to leave this affixed to. It will not work on my Dewalt angle grinder but i'm okay with that. The clamp size is wrong. The harbor freight unit was cheap and I only need this for occasional use so it just lives on there. Easier than messing with installing and removing it every time I need it anyway.

Build quality is fine quality of parts fine it doesn't fit anything that I own and I own a fabrication shop at least 15 grinders doesn't fit one of them either the arbor is the wrong size and the collar the mountain collar is the wrong size or both this is a foolish engineering mistake so I have no use for it actually I'm going to cut it apart and make one good one out of it somehow but I'll spend an entire day doing it

It actually works better than I expected…with a little modification. There is a Phillips screw that secures the attachment to the grinder. It’s difficult to get it tight enough to hold the attachment in place and if it cocks just a bit it throws the belt out of alignment, causing it to throw the belt. I welded a nut to the Phillips head in order to get it tighter. Works like a champ now.

Installation: Remove your grinding or cutting disc. Remove your guard. Install device arm. Install the active wheel.If the guard attachment has a small diameter, this device may not install properly and you will have side to side movement. It needs to install so all 3 wheels are aligned.The active wheel will install on a 5/8 thread.Usage: Works good provided the arm is aligned with the active wheel. If the arm doesn't fit perfectly with the guard attachment area, the attachment arm will move and cause the belt to slip and tear. Basically the two idler wheels operate on a different plane than the powered wheel.And the belts this thing comes with are garbage. Order some 1.5" x 30" belts.UPDATE: Works on most cordless angle grinders. Does not fit all corded.

As to be expected it may or may not fit your grinder. After removing the guards and adding a washer to space the wheel out the Milwaukee Fuel 18v grinder fits perfect. The sand paper sucks, the high grit looses it's grit pretty quickly. So buy some high quality sandpaper not sure on the size yet as it's not printed anywhere. It otherwise is well constructed and not super cheaply made, heavy gauge steel, decent spring retention, sealed bearings and the sand paper seems to track well.
