I bought this grinder thinking it WAS a dewalt, but took a chance when I saw it wasn't! Put on a cutting wheel and gave it a test. Started to cut a piece of sheet metal and it took off OK, then just stopped. Tried again with another battery and same deal. I really wanted to keep this quality looking tool, but it has no stamina to even cut some light sheet metal. I put a bolt in a vice and tried to cut that, and it kept stopping and a hack saw would be faster! 🥲

It’s not reasonable to get a knock off tool that’s a lot cheaper than the name brand version and expect it to have the same quality and performance. Sometimes it happens and that’s a bonus, but usually the best you can hope for is something that works decently and saves you some money. That is what you get with this angle grinder. I have several different Dewalt angle grinders I use for metal fabrication and compared this to the version that was most similar. This one is noticeably lighter, probably from using a cheaper motor, and the plastic seems of a lower quality. It also doesn’t have the nice features Dewalt has like the quick release guard and the allen wrench easy release quick change system. But put the battery in and it works, and decently well enough overall. I did find it bogged down cutting metal quicker than the Dewalt version, which isn’t surprising given it being lighter weight and likely having a lower quality motor. So on the whole I’m satisfied with this grinder for what it is. It’s a great addition to my lineup for lighter duty tasks and at a decent price it may be worth getting a few for light work so you’re not having to change out discs all the time. But for heavy cutting or grinding, this just can’t keep up. With that in mind, if you recognize its limitations it’s a perfectly serviceable tool at a significant cost savings over the name brand version.

Just buy it. It's worth it. Speed regulator, it seems to be good to establish desired speed control. Great product.

It's a DeWalt, that pretty much sums it up.Seems to be plenty powerful and runs a long time on one charge.

A comparable DEWALT grinder is twice the cost of this one and for the money savings, I’m very pleased with this grinder. I think of this more as homeowner use rather than professional. If you are planning to grind on metal 8 hours a day in your shop, this probably isn’t for you, but if you are looking for occasional to moderate use, I think you’d be happy with this grinder.

Recently brought this angle grinder, feels sturdy. Better than I expected, interchangeable handle for both right and left hand users. Feels light weight. Works with my dewalt battery I have already. Comes with everything you need besides the battery. Would recommend
