The Benchmark Scientific H2200-H MyTemp digital heating incubator has a 0.75 cubic foot/20L capacity to keep samples at a constant temperature. The temperature range is ambient + 1 to 60 degrees C. The incubator has a temperature uniformity of +/- 1.5 degrees C and an accuracy of 0.5 degrees C at 37 degrees C. Temperature can be set in one degree increments. The LED panel displays the internal temperature. Two storage shelves are adjustable or can be removed for taller objects. The incubator weighs 15lbs./6.5kg and has a 14.5 x 13.2" footprint (W x D, where W is width, the horizontal distance from left to right; D is depth, the horizontal distance from front to back). Variable 100 to 240V, 50 to 60Hz power supply.

Upon arrival, the incubator was found to be in poor condition. The control panel cover detached, and the interior was unclean, suggesting it might have been previously used and returned. Multiple cracks were visible on the incubator door and surrounding areas. The sole positive aspect was that the temperature control functioned, albeit consistently running one degree lower than the set temperature.

The incubator has stopped working after very mild use of just maybe 35 hours. The fan runs, but the heating unit must have burned out. The digital interface was great, and I really liked the incubator beforehand, but now it's useless.

After about a month of use, the incubator died repeatedly. When failing it would beep, shut off immediately, all buttons become nonresponsive, and the light for some reason turns on. It can be reset temporarily by unplugging and plugging back in, but that only works now for a matter of hours or minutes.The worse news is that Benchmark, although the product is said to come with a 2 year warranty, does NOT honor the warranty if the incubator is purchased from Amazon. I ended up having to buy a replacement power supply and will see if that fixes the problem (it did not - see below), but it is not good that 2 months in the product fails and is not covered by warranty although it was advertised as brand new.**EDIT 12/10/17** The unit failed within 24 hours after a new replacement power supply was obtained from Benchmark. This thing has been a total waste of money and time. STAY AWAY!

I am using this incubator for a month now. The temperature keeps dropping 1 or 2 degrees Celsius each week. I need to set at 42C to keep 37C inside temperature. Price is good but not worth it in the long term.

experienced problem with power supply, called Benchmark and they were aware of issue, and is sending new power supply, directions of use could be a bit clearer
