In the past when I've wanted to make pom-poms from yarn, I just used my fingers, but this will be so much better. Since it's hard wood, it won't squish together like my fingers end up doing after so many wraps around them. Also, I like that you can make different sizes of pom-poms with this. Not sure if there is a purpose to the little notches on the size as there are no instructions included and I didn't see anything in the ad to indicate they serve some kind of purpose.

This pom pom maker is great for making 5 different sizes of pom pom.It is made of 4 layers of thin "wood material" which makes it thick and sturdy.I love that it's flat and can be stored away easily.There are no instructions or anything with it, it just comes to you in a baggie. I think I can figure it out though...lolI have some of the other kinds of pom pom makers but they are a bit more complex and really turn me away from making them.I think this will be quick and easy.
