I’m 6’4” and this monopod could easily accommodate someone 6’6”. In the end a little too expensive and I compromised and got the MSDPL46 for a little more than half the price of this one. Also the blue color was a little flashy for me

Ordered the after some research on the web about "best monopods". I am a sports photographer that travels 90 percent of the year so appreciate all aspects of this monopod. Compact size, features, weight. I have switched from a different branded monopod, which I also loved and used for about 10 years. The reason for switching was the threading on the old flip clasps was wearing out. Anyhow, I am a brand geek and when I find a product I like, I generally try to stick with the same brand. I shoot with a Canon 400 2.8 so it is not light, this adding additional weight to my gear is a consideration as well as the support from a solid monopod. Highly recommend.

Overall build quality is excellent. No visible plastic parts in the head, knobs are smooth and tension appropriately. The Allen key slot for storing it in the head is a bit suspect as it doesn’t lock in place and I could see it falling out while traveling. The leg releases have minimal turn to loosen and tighten adding to quick collapse and extend. The lever lock is very easy and came pretensioned to lock perfectly. I mounted my z9, Adapter with 600mm F4 (heavy lens) and found the balance very fast. All felt very sturdy with the heaviest combo I could give it. Solid all around! Nice work Benro! Also, amazing carbon weave and color is stunning.
