I've been on a mission to find the perfect bento box for a 6th grader. This is actually the best one so far - which is crazy, because we've tried boxes that cost 4 times the price of this one. If it were a bit bigger, I would stop looking - and if it also had a handle built into the lid, it would be perfect. This little box will hold a sandwich made with smaller size sliced bread. It has the best type of snap closure, in my opinion - it's obvious when it is closed or not closed, and doesn't get hung up on anything. It's light weight, and slim enough to slide easily into a school backpack. Three compartments is as many as we need, and I like that one has its own lid - though for us, the smaller ones are too small. The seal works fine, and since it only seals at the outer edges (not multiple individual fixed compartments) it's easier to clean than most. If I still had a tiny tot in school, we could use this every day... but for us, it's a fancy snack box. :)

This is a nice little bento box. The way it seals, it seems seamless and smooth when you run your hand over it, with no edges poking out to be caught on things in your bag or freezer. And the freezer thing is something I like, as-is the fact that it can be microwaved with the lid off. I think it's nice to be able to freeze a meal, defrost in the fridge, then heat in the microwave and enjoy.I plan to use this bento box to make lunches for my dad, who if left to his own devices has a hard time finding anything to eat in the refrigerator even with the food right in front of him. I'm hoping that if he has prepared meals he just needs to heat, he will start eating healthier lunches.

I use this to bring small lunches or snacks with me to work. I say small because it is more suitable for a kids sized lunch rather than an adult. That said, it is perfect for what I needed it for. It will hold a sandwich (not crazy thick), and has 2 compartments for additional items like nuts, berries, or small snacky things. One of the smaller compartments has a lid so I can have dressing or ketchup for dipping without it getting every where (no need for plastic zipper bags). The main lid is very secure. It has clips on all sides so I haven't had any issues with it popping open or things falling out when its tossed in a backpack. Cleaning is a breeze whether hand washing or putting in the upper rack of the dishwasher. Overall, very pleased with it as a "less waste" creating tool for lunch and snacks.

This is such a well made lunch box. I haven't had any issues with mold as yet and it is easy for my son to open and close. It is also easy to clean and it fits a lot.

I didn’t take the wrapper off. It was to small for what I would need

This is just ok. It’s a much cheaper version of a Bentgo box. It’s pretty small and I don’t think it will last too long. I would recommend just springing for a Bentgo box because it seems like that brand is much better made and will last much longer. That being said, if you are looking for a budget friendly bento box for your kiddo, this is for you.
