This cover fits and took some time to install. It requires more than one person, but once it is done, it is possible to keep better insulation.

Very thin aluminum and bubble wrap sandwiched material. I chose this over others because the listing says “280g per sq meter” rather than “50g per sq meter” from other listings.I measured the total thickness be 2.58mm versus I saw another listing (more expensive) claims to be 6mm thick. So in hindsight I probably would have bought from another seller.Overall installation went smoothly, mine is slightly narrower so as I stapled gun around very meticulously, I’ve got about 5” overlapped extra on the back end. No big deal as I have professional cold weather aluminum tape ready to use to tighten up the slacks. I also taped around the bottom for a more perfect seal too.Now I definitely do not feel anymore draft from the attic door. It’s nice that they include the stapler gun and staples too. Staples are quite short, so you do have to press really hard against your boards and this cover.

Definitely value pack! Gave me staple gun one less thing to buy thank you. Easy to install did not have to hire someone. I. Am 5 ‘ 4” and was able to do this myself. It was hot as hell though lol. It appears the performance is good since I have noticed a 10 degree difference immediately. In the room was another 15 - 20 degree cooler due to the AC.As for as the fit, it was a SMIDGE small. Not the perfect fit. But nothing but tape can fix that! I SHOULD STUFF IT. Also… my attic door would not close all the way. It could installation error. lol

I don't think this is really helpful. Our hallway is still very warm. Good quality and staple gun is a plus but not so sure it's helpful.

I thought it was working great until I opened up the attic to a bunch of condensation everywhere. I had mold growing on the attic stairs and a ton of water dripping everywhere after just 2 weeks.
