Used to use spider, now this is my go to for everything. Great for spinning and baitcasters, never snapped a line, and it’s amazing for winter too.

I'm very disapointed.Line bends easily and keeps the memory of the bind, which creates a point of fragility and breaks. When you cut it, even with a high quality pair of scissors, the tip becomes unraveled after a few minutes. There is a weird gummy sensation when we touch the line.I bought it for a beading project (bracelet). The project broke before I could finished half of it. If it cannot survive 3mm beads, I cannot imagine while fishing... Most dollar store threads have a better quality than that.Only positive point, it arrived fast.

I've been using SpiderWire for the last 20 years and was intrigued by the "Crystal" Fireline to see how the white would look in the water. I'm extremely not impressed with this line. The 20lb test is much thicker than the 20lb test in the SpiderWire braid. It also has tenancy to retain it's shape, the line memory is terrible. It was not smooth and would gum up my baitcaster more than braided line would. On top of it all, I had brand new line on the reel, went to cast a $15 livetarget square bill and as I threw it, the line snapped causing it to fly off into the woods in the middle of our Canadian fishing trip.It's better than Mono IMO but definitely not better than most braids out there. I switched back to Spyderwire the instant this line randomly snapped and cost me a lure. Not impressed.

Good quality line if you like the diameter/toughness of braid, but still want to keep the line visibility to a minimum. Great sensitivity and casting as most braids, but seems to deter wind knots better than standard braid. If you're throwing any sort of braid in the surf/wind you will get wind knots on a spinning reel no matter how hard you try to prevent them. I was pleased with the very few I've had. Only thing that keeps this product at 4 stars is the problem with any braid-like line, you can snap off at any time without warning due to the difficulty of detecting damage in the line.

Love fire line never had line break or knot come out have tried many other brands and found this line causes least amnt of tangles and issues that usually get with every other Brand of braid I have ever used great product

Only line I use anymore. Casting is second to none and it has a nice round profile so it flies through the guides with ease. 4 stars because the color did fade out but overall I'm very satisfied. I hope you see this review and mark helpful please
