I bought this for my daughter's 2008 car as we were traveling this summer. It came in very handy and she continues to use it regularly!

We bought this power inverter back in 2016. 6 years later, we are still able to use it for many road trips and for going-to-work traveling many times a year. Its easily capable of charging any cell phones or powering a portable car DVD player. It does generate some heat after a while, nothing to worry about or the be concerned. I am always pleased to see that there is still some long-lasting quality items in our disposable world! Enjoy your day!

I like the idea of how convenient this product is, but it takes too long to warm up. My partner is a construction worker so he doesn’t have access to any outlets. The problem is the car has to be running for 30-40 mins so that he can warm up his food by the time it’s lunch time which he can’t do because the car would be unattended while he’s working. I should have returned it

After seeing a friend have a similar product in her car and seeing how handy it is to use the AC plug to quick charge this was a must have. It is bulky but comparable to other items of its kind. Price wise it is a good deal. I have not yet used it so cannot confirm if it is in working order.

I bought the BESTEK 75W DC 12V to 110V AC Power Inverter because the power inverter I bought from Radio Shack a while back started to fail. I would be driving and hear my device being charged make a noise or light up saying that the device isn't being charged due to a poor connection. I would have to wiggle the inverter to get the connection back, which wouldn't last long. The first difference I noticed between the two power inverters is that the BESTEK Power Inverter has a solid tip in the front that is stationary. Radio Shack's power inverter tip was able to jiggle and cause a poor connection between the tip and the cigarette connection in my car.Another difference is that the green light on the BESTEK Power Inverter is easily visible on the device. Radio Shack's very small light was covered up by the device I plugged into it, so I would have to rely on looking at what I was charging to make sure it was being charged.I've only had the BESTEK Power Inverter for a week, but so far, it's definitely working better than the Radio Shack power inverter, which has now been put in the glove compartment as a back-up.For the price, I would recommend the BESTEK Power Inverter if you need a device to charge multiple devices at once. (FYI: I use the ANKER PowerPort 4 to plug into the 110V connection to charge up to three devices that use USB for a 2.1A charge on all of them.)

These things are massive but you can tell they were built with a high quality! I bought two for my car so we could plug our plethora of electronics for road trips and to utilize during camping trips. Overall they are doing the job great. No complaints.

Bought this so my daughter could keep her laptop charged and usable during our 16-hour drive home from her college. I purposely didn't want one of the power devices that had a built-in fan because I had read the fans are noisy and can interfere with radio reception. This device worked well, but it shut off after the laptop was plugged in about four hours because the charging device got too warm. I realize the auto shutoff is a safety feature to prevent overheating, which is good, but it was kind of a pain having to wait an hour or so for the charging device to cool down before we could plug it in and use it again. Didn't have the auto shutoff/overheating issue when we used it only with smaller devices plugged into the USB ports. Then again, little devices like an iPod Touch or Kindle don't draw as much power as a laptop and don't take as long to charge. (There is a green light on the device to indicate it is on and working; a red light comes on when it gets too hot and shuts off).I would recommend this product - just be aware of its limitations.

While boondocking,I use this inverter inside my RV to connect my ROKU box to a 12 volt receptacle. It works just fine and doesn't use up a lot of power like it would if I used a full-size inverter like a 300-400 watt inverter. I love this little inverter, and I also use it to plug in USB powered devices to charge also. If you need a little inverter to power a cellphone, netbook or some other small powered electronic devices then this is the one to get.UPDATE: When I first wrote this review I wrote it in regards to the previous model (75watt charger with a SINGLE USB port), and since then they now make one with two USB ports. I've since purchased 2 more of these units. My update is that the one with the single USB port allows you to hook up a triple gang outlet extension to this device and still use the one and only single USB port, and if you use the extension on the new dual USB model you can't access any of the ports if hook up an extension. But, if you have no intentions on hooking up an outlet adapter to this unit, then the dual ports work wonders and either way you go these bestek inverter chargers are AWESOME. I even own the 150 watt one. By the way, I use these daily, actually all day long, and they stand up very well. I'm VERY satisfied! Highly recommend!
