This fixed my GE Monogram ZIS480NRI refrigerator. The compressor wasn't coming on even though the inverter was getting a 5V signal. Package came the next afternoon and I had my fridge working again

Worked perfect! $100 part, next day delivery, fridge back up and running as per troubleshooting. Saved AT LEAST $400 for repair service all in...screwdriver and a multi-meter is all it took!

We bought a new house and the fridge had a tenancy to leak water in the freezer. It seemed when the defrost cycle kicked in, it got too warm and the ice in the ice maker tray would melt. After about a year of trying to figure out the issue, a power outage made the fridge stop working all together. A bit more research pointed to this compressor controller. Not only did the fridge start working again, but the ice melting issue also went away.

I bought this product about 5 years ago to fix this fridge - bought the fridge dead, but from the owner's description and my own testing I took a chance that this power board was the problem. When I purchased and replaced, I saw blackened areas inside the old bad board. I was about $100 total into a $1500 fridge - back to life it came. 5 years forward to today, same fridge is dead, I replaced the same part, back in business. Keeps the food at 37 F and the freezer at 0 F. Do a little reading and troubleshooting first, to see if your symptoms match.Good Luck!!

After 8 years of service my refrigerator stopped cooling. The compressor was not coming on so after researching, all signs pointed to this Control Board. Amazon was able to deliver overnight and after following the steps from several Youtube videos I got this board installed. After plugging in the power I immediately could feel the compressor vibrating again and we have a fully working appliance. Noted while the service panel was off I could see that the airflows/vents were covered in dust and that "may" have contributed to the death of my original component. It my be good preventative maintenance to brush and vacuum the rear of the refrig more often. This is certainly a DIY job that you can accomplish with basic tools and a video.*****Final tip: if your compressor has copper tubing preventing you from removing the old invertor board, there are metal clips on the feet of the compressor that can temporarily be removed. This will allow you to gently lift the compressor ~two inches and get the needed clearance to take out the bad board.

Our refrigerator died after the power company shut down the power to "upgrade" the system in our area and the surge when they turned it back on apparently fried the inverter board. It took quite a while to figure out what was wrong, but after learning more than I ever wanted to know about the inner workings of a refrigerator by lots of research on the internet, I decided that this part must be the culprit. I took the plunge and ordered this part because it was less than a tenth the cost of a new refrigerator. I ordered it during a holiday weekend and was expecting a four day delivery. I was excited when it arrived a day earlier than I expected. It was an exact fit to replace the old inverter controller, though it was not the same color (new one was black plastic, old was a yellowish white) and the new one has a metal plate where there was none on the old one. I had it installed within 5 minutes and the previously non-functioning compressor in my fridge fired right up. Within about 8 hours, the fridge was cold and I had ice in my freezer again! In searching for this part I found others that were double the price of this one and appeared to be the exact same part. I highly recommend this vendor. The only thing I wish had been different would be the peace of mind that knowing had this part failed to fix my problem I could have returned it. The return policy states that you can return an unopened, unused part, but you'll never know if it fixed your problem if you don't open it up and install it. It's a bit of pricey gamble for someone who is not a qualified appliance repair specialist, but, in my case, it worked out exactly as I was hoping.
