Great quality. However, a giant pain to install. The instructions state to adhere the padding to the cover before installing, I ended up zip tieing the padding to the roll bar then installing the cover over that.

Looks great. Not an easy install on my ‘86 CJ7. After several attempts following the enclosed instructions, which must be very similar to trying to herd cats, I decided on a different method. I ended up taping the foam padding to the roll bar with duct tape then zipping the cover on. It was still difficult, especially trying to get the zippers started on 45 degree support bar. Total time from start to finish...about 1 1/2 hours. Add several minutes of head scratching in there as well. See the before and after photos, you be the judge. I really like the look so, I would buy it again.

This went onto my CJ7 like butter! Looks great and solid product to freshen up the faded loo of original cover. I did find it easier to secure the foam to the roll bar first, and then seat the cover over the top. Not sure how you could get a smooth look otherwise.

As usual, Bestop quality is great. I installed this on a 1980 CJ7 and it looks and fits perfectly. Note that the instructions call for you to tape the foam inserts into the cloth before install. I found it MUCH easier to simply zip-tie the foam to the bars first then zip the cloth on.

It was almost impossible too put on. The fabric and foam were not glued together, leaving that up to you. The zippers are tiny, and start / stops at the wrong ends. If you pull too hard the zippers came apart, and you had to start over. I've had bestop tops before and it was good, this was bad.

Getting this for my 1982 cj5 jeep was a wise choice...they fit perfect and look very good...not to mention that they got here a couple days early and the price was very affordable...Glad i got them...Thanks

Fit nicely. You will need to pull hard to get the zippers started but that is to be expected. Looks good.
