Pulling weeds is a thankless job. If you can’t get a good grip and tease it out slowly, you will just break it off, leaving the roots to sprout a brand new weed tomorrow. This tool helps to loosen the grip those roots have. The extra leverage provided by the loop helps to extract it, roots and all. I like the fact that it’s narrow, because that makes it easy to push into the ground. You will only have to pull it once with this tool.

I've tried this on creeping bellflower. Unfortunately it doesn't get the entire taproot out. That isn't a problem of the weeder though, those roots just go too deep for anything to reach. This tool does help me with less stubborn weeds though.

Replaced my old weeding tool with this lever type, update. The new tool works really well and requires so much less effort when removing dandelions with long, strong roots. Good purchase at a reasonable price. Highly recommended.

I ordered two different weeding tools. This one is by far the best. Easy to use and quickly dispatches weeds. It allows you to dig them out if necessary, get into small areas around existing plants, and to do maintenance quickly to keep the weeds out. the handle is short so you have to get down, kneeling or sitting positions to do the weeding, that doesn't matter since I would sit anyway. This tool is a great buy for the price.

I decided to buy this tool to see if it would really help with pulling weeds. To my surprise, it does. It's very well made, very sturdy, and easy to use. I just wish it would help with the smaller weeds. Works great on bigger weeds. Overall I'm pretty happy with the purchase

Worked amazing for a couple months! However the metal is very soft and it's now completely useless, just beds in the earth instead of pulling up the weeds.

Even in the dry weather it has been easy to pull up weeds . It is stronger then I thought too . It seems best for pulling up things like dandelions in the grass . Does involve lots of bending . Very handy to have .
