I think this is a decent chair so far for what it is, and has been working out nicely for my needs. The seat is roomy and the reclining aspect and footrest are great. It does not get 5 stars for a couple of reasons: 1) there is no built in lumbar support 2) There needs to be a little bit more padding in the seat. Hopefully it will stand the test of time. So far I've had it a few months and it's holding up. I'm plus size so the weight limit was important to me. The chair is attractive in white and goes well in my art studio. I love that it rolls around easily.

DO NOT BUY! The chair is short even at full height, the max seat height only rises to 17" a dining chair is usually 17 to 20 inches high. And the seat.... It is SO UNCOMFORTABLE! It is like sitting on cement. The assembly was good and it is a nice looking chair but if you are tall and looking for something comfortable to sit hours while you work.... Buy something else!! Oh and once you buy it, they make it very hard to return. You have to pay for it to be returned to ONT Canada. Almost the same amount of the chair to send back. DO NOT BUY!!!!!

Nice chair, but like others I found it squeaks from two different places.1) Squeaks were coming from where the cylinder mates to the seat mount. Adding a few drops of oil lubricant has helped reduce it by a lot. It probably would have been better to add grease to the seat mount hole prior to mounting.2) Found squeaks were coming from the interface between the seat mount and the bottom of the seat. I made four square washers from 1/16" thick rubber sheet and placed them between the interface at the four bolt positions. This worked well and haven't heard any noise since.At the price point I expected the noise issues to have been resolved by now and also expect better, rubberized casters. Cushioning could also be improved, I'm ~160lbs and it bottoms out.Update:Squeaks came back (think its from the cylinder mount) and it's pretty annoying LOL. Seller should really fix it #KnownAnnoyingIssue. If you just made the purchase try adding grease b/c its really tough to dismount and add after the fact.

This is a beautiful chair however it has a terrific sound whenever I move around. Sounds like it's breaking or cracking.

This chair is a cut above similar ones I have purchased for the price. It was easy to assemble, and most important to me has a wide range of adjustment up and down. It's a good computer chair and looks nice in the room too. The black upholstery looks luxurious and sturdy. Other reviews have mentioned noise in the chair and long sitting issues, but I'm guessing those are dependent on weight, body type, etc. So far I haven't experienced any of these issues - if I do, I'll come back and update this review!!

I was looking for a Mid-Century desk chair that would fit with our new kitchen desk and decore. This chair was exactly what I was looking for. The chair is made with quality, stylishness, comfort and just looks darn good. I would of given the review a perfect 5 if it weren't for the standard grade casters made of plastic (see picture), prone to scratch wooden floors. If you use this chair on carpets and tile they are fine. I however replaced them with better ones made out of a soft poly. Other than that, the chair is GREAT!
