I purchased these to replace a missing camelbak mouth piece and my first impression was that the rubber was noticeably thinner, unfortunately after using it to drink a handful of times 3 small holes ripped along the side where it stretches over the plastic piece at the end of hose. There is no way I would trust these for a hike let alone backpacking. I have returned them.
