Needed some type of bladder bag that was big enough to hold the water I needed to carry with me while at work but need the extra space on the sides for other things. This bladder bag does exactly that, it’s durable the only complaint I have is that the hose isn’t long enough but besides that, it’s worthy

I am not much of a camper any more, did a lot in my younger years. This product would be great for that. Having a larger, as in not necessarily a portable water bladder, to keep potable water in, is never a bad idea. It's an obviously well made product. The plastic is thick and the seams are sturdy. When it's full it's kind of heavy. Being that it holds 2.1 gallons of water that's to be expected. For my purposes, I wanted a way to keep drinking water to refill my smaller carried water bladders when I'm away from a convenient source for my refills. Working outside, working in the barn, or out away from things watching a horse show, this fits the bill.

I've tried two different bags (sent the first one back for a replacement), and they both had leaking valve connections where the straw hose connects to the bag. Completely unusable unless you want a waterfall following you around, soaking everything in your backpack.

No leaks, no punctures, I've kept rusty nails and rocks right next to this in my pack and it doesn't even show signs of wear. The one thing, is the collar the handle is attached to comes off very easily and will drop the entire bladder under full weight if it's not properly attached. I end up shoving my hand in the actual port during filling just to be safe. I do trail work for a living, and this will usually last me a couple days before I have to refill it. A great choice for long hikes, maybe. Doesn't usually fit in most hydration bladder pouches on the inside of backpacks when full. Never leaves a weird taste in the water, and very easy to wash. Soap taste never sticks in there either. A great choice for its large capacity! I might go for a smaller one that'll actually fit in my backpack since most of the time I have access to water between days.

I use one for hiking, and two more as a homemade drip watering system for planter boxes on my condo balcony ; ) filling two of these is much easier than watering a dozen planters!

Very happy to finally find a water bladder that is larger than standard 3 liters that all the other brands are limited to. 3L is by far not enough for my long rides in a hot tropical climate and with this bladder I can take as much water as I need, and it fits perfectly into my backpack hydration compartment.
