I was looking for a second monitor for travel and this one is great, especially for the price!

I just bought this, so I can’t comment on long-term reliability. But I wanted to write my first impressions because I am very pleasantly surprised by how good the picture quality of this screen is.I was looking for an inexpensive portable monitor so I could have a second screen with my laptop when traveling, and to also use as a third screen when at home.I paid about $50 (with a $5 coupon), so this is certainly inexpensive. The screen is really light weight. It’s not exactly flimsy, but it’s not something you could just carelessly throw into a bag either. This definitely needs a protective sleeve when traveling. I’ve previously purchased other portable monitors that felt much more rugged. But what I can’t get over is how good the picture quality is. It is easily the best picture quality of any monitor I’ve purchased, even though it is by far the cheapest and lowest resolution monitor I’ve purchased in the last decade. Heck, the picture quality is as good as the high resolution big screen laptop that cost over $3000 it’s currently connected to.I’m not a graphics artist, so I can’t talk about color saturation quality or anything like that. But all my other portable monitors looked much worse than my laptop screen. So I am very pleasantly surprised that I can put this “cheap” “only 1080p” monitor next to my laptop and be just as happy looking at it as at the laptop screen.Ease of setup was also great. I simply plugged in the usb-c cable, adjusted the brightness up, and I was good to go. Literally plug & play.If this thing holds up and keeps working, it would be a fantastic purchase.

This was a great buy. People in business, education, etc. desperately need multiple screens. This product will fit your need. It's very thin and portable. Get this. You won't be disappointed.

Light weight, worked immediately. Only drawback is the power cord is very short. I like it so far.

Product is OK but no more than that, brightness is low even if 100% brightness, no cover for screen mobility protection and no bag, lightweight, the price was good with great coupon, will recommend finding a better one

This monitor is much lighter and thinner than I thought it'd be, which is great. It has a nice matte screen so there's no glare, which was one of the main things I was hoping for when I bought it. I've got bad light sensitivity so the glare on some of my other monitors kills me if I need to sit at the computer for hours.USB-C hookup option is great. It also has a mini HDMI port to go that route as well. So, there's a few things I don't like. One is that the power button doesn't seem to depress. I'm not sure if I got a bad one or if it's just a light touch sort of thing. I mean, I still can get it to power on, and it doesn't go off or cut out or anything, it's just odd.The second thing is it really needs to come with a travel bag. Well, really not a bag, but a thin sleeve of some kind just so you can transport it without getting the screen scratched up. I'm strictly using it at home, so the most I would be doing is moving it room to room, but if you're someone who would leave the house and bring it with you, be aware that you might want to find something to keep it in as to not scratch the screen.I use this as a second monitor for work so I don't use the speakers. I tried them though, and they are rough. That's expected though. But if you plan to use this for listening to music or playing games you may want to get some type of external speaker. It does have a headphone jack built in so you could plug in some of those or a little external speaker. Not a huge deal. The last thing is that, while I don't care personally, the advertising lists it has having HDR but I can confirm that it does not. Again, not a big deal for me, but I suppose it might be for some people?Overall I'm very pleased with my purchase. I'd been wanting to get one of these for awhile but kept putting it off because I have a ton of full size monitors but I wanted (and needed) something small when it came to the work setup.Would definitely recommend, but one star off for the few things I mentioned above.

I've now bought a few of these portable monitors now to get a good idea of the overall quality range this falls in. This is one of the better 1080p ones. It doesn't have any fancy features like high refresh, 4K support, or detailed picture control options but it makes up for it with the built-in kickstand which is a way better option than the foldable cardboard you usually get. You can also buy a compatible portable monitor stand separately that gives you rotation options if you want and you can still mount it and still keep the kickstand function for travel use. For around $50 now I have no problems recommending this. As a bonus, I'm also having a little fun with the name of this brand... I can say things like "Hey! I just pulled a kickstand out my BIGASUO so it doesn't lay flat!" Well, you get the idea.
