This fits perfectly for the 800W heater. It does allow a quick mount or dis-mount. Only other comment I have is I ran the power cord tucked into my wire management box at the bulkhead in the bilge routing it to the electrical outlet, so when I want to remove the heater for cleaning the bilge, etc, I must undo all the organized wiring and then re-wire.

Bought this along with the 600W engine compartment heater and it was a breeze to install. Instead of using the included screws to secure inside my engine compartment I used outdoor hook and loop tape to install and it seems to be working great.
