This is not a heavy duty safe. But it is the perfect size for my Keltec KSG410, two handguns and ammo. The print scanner sucks so I use the key pad. Plus you get a key in case the battery gets low and you need to open it. Very compact and fits on my wall perfectly. Key pad lights up but only after you touch it so if you need to grab your gun you'll have to either turn on a light or use your cell phone light. If you enter the wrong code three times it locks down. You'll need the key. Not ideal in an emergency situation. If it is an emergency you should be calling 911 while retrieving your weapon. 3 starts because it was the only one I could find at this size, not intrusive in my room, looks decent on the wall.

This device has some significant design flaws. If you're looking at this and going, "I want to sink that into a wall in-between some studs just like their product shots show", you're going to have a bad time. The mounting holes are on the top/bottom instead of both sides, meaning that there's no way to mount it in-between two wall studs like their pictures imply without adding some additional supports for the top/bottom. For this purpose, they provide drywall anchor screws. What drywall is going to be above and below this when it's sunk into a wall? (Hint: none.)As others have pointed out, the fingerprint reader is garbage, and straight-up doesn't work. The key actually looks to be a reasonably-secure design, but the emergency keyway is on the left side of the body of the case, again making this inappropriate for wall-mounting, because the emergency keyway would be entirely inaccessible in an emergency. The locking mechanism also has issues, where you have to be actively pulling the release at the same time you finish entering the pin, or else the servo will action so quickly you won't actually get into the case, and have to try again, again adding to fears of actually having to depend on this in an emergency.

Easy set up, easy mounting, easy programming. Well worth every single dollar! Highly recommended!

I was skeptical buying a no name safe, but it does the job. The fingerprint mechanism works fast and accurately. I have it mounted on the wall in my closet. Make sure it’s drilled into a stud

I expected budget as I knew this was much cheaper than the Vaultek RS option I was looking at. From a functionality standpoint, fingerprint sucks. Within a day is unusable despite saving multiple prints of same finger. With key code, works just fine although it's pretty slim inside. I have a DD PDW with suppressor and eotech on Unity Riser and it's tight enough that I have to restrict to 20 round mags to fit.Worst part, is that since purchase the inside has smelled very strongly of cigarettes or some smokey chemical smell. It has bled onto my sling and anything made of fabric I place inside. Was hoping the smell would go away but even at the last range day I could smell it on my rifle. Not sure what it is but it is disturbing.

Heavy duty, high quality materials. Keypad and biometric pad programmed easy. Both avenues work reliably. Backup key lock works well. Insane value compared to the competition.

I bought this for a gun enthusiast but was told couldn’t fit all weapons due to not being tall enough but loved the fact can be hidden like under a bed instead of a closet.
