Hard to use clumps if you don't spread it far enough apart, your snow will turn into a pile of blue slushy guk .Not worth the money.

This product was purchased as it is pet safe. Did great job melting ice so my senior dog could get safely off the porch. Works better and quicker at melting than the non pet safe ice melt product purchased for sidewalk use.

Does what it's supposed to do. I bought it because it's a local company. I gave it 4 stars because the packaging is not heavy duty enough. The Amazon box was fine, not crushed or dented, but when I opened it the salt was everywhere because the plastic container had cracked and split open on one side. Not a huge deal I just dumped it all in a bin but would have been nice to have the plastic pour container.
