Both my birds love them. Came in really handy when outside temps dripped to 10 degrees. My house was not ad warm as normal and the birds snuggled right up to the heater.

This device stopped working legit right after it could not be returned!! I was so upset because i feel like i threw money down the drain. Tried everything to get it to work. Will not turn on anymore or heat up. Its nice that the wire is concealed from bird chewing yet seems like it put a lot of stress on cord to where it stopped giving power to product to the point it wont turn on anymore. Not worth it in my opinion unless your looking for something to temp work until it doesnt within a couple months

I have a very happy Indian Ringneck Parakeet. He loves his heater. I keep the house cool at night and this provides a warm place for him to cuddle when he goes to sleep. I tested it first before I put it in his cage, and it is safely warm to the touch. There was a small burr along one of the edges that was shape enough to cause a cut – I was able to shave it off to prevent injury. The heater is easy to install. The first 5” of the cord are protected by woven metal. I would have preferred a coil that extended several feet – birds like to chew and, when out of the cage, he could chew through the coating of the cord. I know this from experience.The heater is reasonably priced.
