It's a little bigger than I expected. You can use it with or without the top clear cover so that definitely helps the birds get used to it in the cage. Overall happy with the purchase.

My husband ordered this bird nest for the canaries that he has in his greenhouse. It was exactly what he was looking for. He likes that it is clear and easy to clean. The birds like it. He is hoping that this will give them a spot to lay eggs and hatch baby birds.

My mom has 2 parakeets and they LOVE their new little nest! It's very easy to clean, so cute, the pad is really soft, and it's the perfect size for her babies! The color fits with almost any decor, so it can work in most settings! Definitely recommend!

Nice bird nest. Washable. Easy to assemble. Good size for Budgies or Conures. BUT the washers were barely big enough to fit across two of the cage bars (and I have very close bars for my Budgies) and the bowl nest started tipping down. To counteract this, as we don't want eggs to roll out, I am going to get larger washers for the bolt and I will put a perch underneath it for added support.It's a great little nest, and made so you can see what is happening inside it; but it needs to be re-engineered to support it's own weight. You could use it on the bottom of a cage without an issue.

This nest is such a fun addition to my budgie's cage. Because it's clear it doesn't feel like it's taking up too much space. The little bed that comes with it is just like the big, round dog beds on the market, but shrunk down to budgie-size.

This is not the highest quality plastic. To me it feels cheap and thin.The pieces fit together tightly. They are also not easy to separate. The problem mainly arises with the quality. You can’t be too rough on it because I see this easily breaking.The cage attachment has to be added. There is a pre-drilled hole to do this. I appreciated this given the cheap, more brittle quality.The size is nice and round. It’s roomy and you can choose to use the soft cushion or not. You have some options on whether or not to mount and to leave the top off or connected. This allows some pet customization.

This bird house is bite proof and made of plastic. The inside "nest" is very soft fabric. Comes in 2 pieces and you simply push the pieces together and they'll snap together. Well built. Our budgie hasn't gone in it yet, but the opening is definitely big enough for a budgie to go through.
