The construction was very poor. Looks like it was a child's craft project .

I purchased this mostly on the great reviews other bird parents had given it, and it is very good quality. My only criticism is the price - it is VERY expensive. I have trouble understanding why something that is made with fairly basic materials is so pricey, but I am counting on the other reviewers to know that cheaper versions are simply not appropriate (or safe) for their beloved birds. I am sure I will be grateful for it soon, when I adopt a couple of parakeets.

I purchased this item to help with catching the bats we occasionally get in our house. We live in a wooded area in an old house so bats sometimes find their way inside. I did not want to harm the bats or get too close and the net worked like a charm!

Worked great. I've been using it to move large breeder parrots (green wings, cockatoos) into new flight cages. The birds are positioned in the bottom of the net securely where they can't injure themselves or me! Highly recommend. Material is light weight but so far has stood up to the birds.

very light weight, a bit flimsy, not sure it would last for more than a few catches.. We purchased for emergency use if we had to catch one of our pets in an emergency.

This net is extremely handy for anyone who has pet birds. I have zebra finches, and on those rare occasions when one escapes from the very large flight cage they reside in, this is the perfect way to capture a very frightened bird that is outside of its safe environment. The long handle makes it easy to retrieve the bird from high places in the house.
