This blanket was a big hit with my kids!! They loved looking at all the detailed birds and butterflies and enjoyed wrapping up in this ever so soft blanket. I was very impressed with its quality and yet how lightweight it was! Great for traveling with as well.Washed and dried great, without shrinking or fading.Overall extremely pleased and wouldn’t change a thing! A must have for nature lovers!!

This is a smaller size blanket that is quite soft. The print is double-sided, which makes it unique. On one side, with the orange background that identifies butterflies and then the white side that has different common backyard birds. The blanket is a mid-weight, soft fleece and I can see it being a good lap blanket for pretty much year-round. I do wish that the birds were printed as crisply as the butterflies, but they are recognizable, for sure, and only a little blurry at the edges - sort of like the image was blown up too large for the resolution. Because of this, I am not sure that I would give it to a bird lover, but a butterfly lover would be happy with the print quality for sure!

This is a thin fleece throw blanket printed with labelled birds and butterflies of the American Southwest. The blanket is comprised of 2 thin layers of printed fleece sewn back to back with no lining, so it is more for show or picnics than for warmth. The butterfly side of the blanket is on an orange background and features: zebra swallowtail, American lady, common buckeye, Baltimore checkerspot, monarch, California tortoiseshell, anise swallowtail, common mestra, large orange sulphur, variegated fritillary, malachite, Karner blue, Colorado hairstreak, dark kite swallowtail, zebra longwing, Mexican fritillary, California dogface, white admiral, viceroy, and mourning cloak. The bird side has a white background and features ruby-throated hummingbird, bluejay, Stellar’s jay, black-capped chickadee, downy woodpecker, American goldfinch, house-wren, white-breasted nuthatch, northern cardinal, American robin, red-breasted nuthatch, Cooper’s hawk, house sparrow, Baltimore oriole, great-horned owl, American crow, and red-bellied woodpecker.I like the concept of this blanket a lot, but I guess I didn’t pay enough attention to the fact that it is not designed to provide any warmth. Yes, it’s more a big reference sheet than a functional bed blanket. The images are realistic illustrations, and the labels are easy to read. The printing is a little blurry as you might expect for a large format fabric creation. Overall, it’s a fun way to review your butterflies and birds, but check the species list to make sure it matches what you might see in your area.

This product exceeded my expectations! Great quality and soo soft. Doesn’t look like material that will get pilly with washing either. Highly recommend!

It's just so soft and well made material. I love using it and it's super cute. I would definitely recommend and makes an amazing gift. They did send me the wrong blanket at first but quickly corrected the error and made it totally hassle free. It's kind if a thin but heavy blanket if that makes sense. Love napping with it too. Haha
