I thought I had burned out the motor on our 7-year old cleaner, since the brush belt was still intact, but turned out to be a snapped pump belt. This part number is what the parts manual called for and is a perfect fit. I'll update this review if it underperforms.

Replaced pump belt after steamer no longer dispensed clean solution. Also noticed the beater bar (spinning bar with bristles) was no longer spinning. The model number of the Bissell is 1692 and required a pump belt part # 015-0628.The replacement process took about 20 minutes with most of the time spent finding the screws to undo - most were buried under a layer of hair that had caked on over the years). No instructions were included, but the original manual can be found on the ManualsLib site. When putting it all back together, note the brush arms fall into a slot that is then covered by the red plastic plates on each side.My 20 year old steam clean is back in running order after the part replacement. I did not need to replace the beater bar belt (toothed belt) that was purchased separately.
