This is perfect to keep your little one entertained this spring and summer. It has everything you need for your little explorer to catch and observe the bugs in your yard. Also a could be a great gift.

The bug collector has been a hit with my 4 yr old daughter. She loves being able to catch grasshoppers, flies, and a frog and put them in the insect box. It's small but it's great for small hands and light weight for her to carry around our property while she looks for insects. The capsule insect clip has been amazing at capturing all of the insects and she has used that more than the tweezers and butterfly net. I feel like the insect box is very sturdy and strong. This has helped us be outside more and less screen time, so I would definitely recommend it!

My 3 year old loves this bug catcher kit. There are multiple tools and the box has a small handle. Great for your bug loving kid.

Last year we gave our four year-old twin grandchildren, a boy/girl, each a catching kit that were each in the color green. They absolutely love them and literally wore them out and ruined them because of all the mud and dirt and bugs that they had in it and broke a couple pieces, so this year I had already gotten a green one to replace one of last year‘s broken ones and I was thrilled when I came across this pink one for my granddaughter so not only will they each have their own set. They will be able to figure out who is who is with no problem. This is literally one of their favorite things to do if you have a child or grandchild that loves to go outdoors and hunt for dirt bugs all that sort of thing this is the ideal thing to keep them busy. They said, has some extra such as tweezers , scooper, magnifying glass, add of course storage for your bugs. I highly recommend getting one of these for your child. Get them outside to have some fun and do not be afraid of insects.

This bug catcher fascinated my kids. They chased each other with the butterfly net, tried looking at moss (pretending it had bugs in it) in the bug habitat up close with the built-in magnifying glass – we don’t have a lot of bugs yet as spring has barely started – and practiced picking things up with the tweezers. I don’t think it is all that sturdy but it is providing a lot of outdoor fun.

This is a very cute pink bug catcher kit. My preschool granddaughters, who are none too sure about bugs, liked it and were having fun checking out each of the tools in the kit, so perhaps a ladybug or butterfly will make its way into the viewing box for them to inspect up close!

I have bought multiple similar kits as my kids love playing outside and enjoy catching bugs or minnows. The utensils are usually junk and broke within the first five minutes. The lid is usually the second weakest point in that after a few uses the lid no longer stays securely connected. The container for this set is admittedly pretty small, but it is one of the best quality kid containers I’ve had/used. The bulb clasps are not the best quality, but I’ve had many others that were way worse quality. The tweezers seem pretty sturdy. It came all put together including the shoulder strap. My girls absolutely love them and haven’t put them down yet.
