I was pleasantly surprised with the ability of this tiny little battery-powered soldering iron. It has a digital display with adjustable temperature. It is easy to use it heats up quick and I feel that it is a good design and built well I would recommend it.

This soldering gun is pretty neat, and works well for most stuff. I use soldering guns a lot in electric guitar repair and maintenance, so getting a wireless soldering gun is a no-brainer for me. The gun heats up quickly, and the tip works well with the multiple soldering tins I tried. The battery charges quickly, and I got quite a bit of use out of it before it needed to be charged again. There was only one soldering tip included, but they are available on places like aliexpress, and are called C210 tips. The other accessories were nice additions, but nothing of striking quality besides the gun itself. My only complaint is that it has poor instructions, and the settings I set the first time didn't save, so the soldering iron kept timing out while I was trying to use it. I tried the setup a second time, and everything seemed to save, but I still find the iron randomly will go into sleep mode or step down the temp while I'm actively using it. This has affected the joints a few times, and the iron will not get hot enough for me to do most work on potentiometers.Overall, the unit is very convenient and makes basic soldering jobs a breeze, I just turn it on, let it heat up for about 20 seconds, solder a few joints and then turn it back off. This soldering gun isn't really suited for the larger jobs where a lot of heat is required, but it works better than most cheap soldering irons for the basic stuff. With all the included accessories and the availability of extra tips, I think this is a really nice option for a wireless soldering gun.

I ordered this soldering iron for my husband because he loves being able to do any sort of repair or project himself. I had no idea what I was getting myself into when I ordered this soldering iron. B

At first I was skeptical of the squarish shape and the weight of this soldering iron, it just didn't feel right in hand. But that quickly changed after I got to really use it for a soldering job. The heft is there and if is not well balanced as it feels like this soldering iron packs a big lithium ion cell which I would take any day versus a lightweight iron that'll die after few minutes. The soldering iron comes with a little generic stand, solder wire, USB-C charging cable, and one single tip! Yeah it's a letdown but good thing it's not a proprietary tip and replacement are available out there. The tip is type K (knife) and fits securely in place using the locking nut.The soldering iron heats up fast to the preset 350°C, but can be adjusted up to 450°C.Performance wise, it was excellent at soldering big components on big thermal area. It conserves its battery efficiently by going to sleep when sitting idle. Speaking of sitting, I do now like the squarish shape and the unbalanced weight as it helps sitting the iron on its side and not risking the heating element to touch anything. You can also sitting upright and it would stay!Although it comes with a single tip, I still think this is a great value compared to other brands.5 stars.

This soldering iron gets hot and maintains temp fairly well. The display is a dim blue, and is virtually impossible to read in normal light, you have to shade the display to read it.There is no way to adjust the brightness. The programming is limited to 4 settings: sleep timeout, Display setting °C or °F, Reset, and temperature compensation. It takes about 30 seconds to heat up, the sleep timeout was set for 10 seconds, so it would go into sleep and stop heating up before it even got hot.It has a motion sensor to know when to enter sleep or wake from sleep. This is quite nice as it wakes up and starts reheating a soon as you pick it up.The motion sensor is not very sensitive, it can go to sleep while you are holding it to a solder joint if the joint takes a bit to heat up.I set the sleep delay to 60 seconds, this seems to work better at keeping it awake while you are using it.It does not come with a cap that covers the tip when not in use, just a piece of silicone tubing.I plan on finding a plastic tube to place the entire iron into so that I can protect it in my tool bag.The battery is a lithium 18650, it is replaceable by any unprotected flat top 18650.Protected and/or button top 18650 batteries will not fit.

I figured this would be terrible but I was able to solder a project together nicely.
