very cool product, awesome product for the price. I purchased 2 of them, and when I unpacked it to install it, one fell on the floor and the glass shattered in a thousand pieces. it is truly glass mirror. because I thought this was a good product, I repurchased 2 more, I thought it was only fair, and not blaming on the manufacturer that it broke because it was glass and I didn't know, to be more careful. So to everybody, it is a glass mirror, be careful, and if it brakes, don't request refund, it is your fault, order another one and use the base of the broken one as an extra piece. overall super happy 3M tape super strong very flexible. I use it because I have a big truck and the side mirrors are huge because are towing mirrors and on the highway tend to make a sound because of the wind tunnel, so I power fold them and use this mirror install at the edge of it to give myself to change lines and drive on the freeway with the mirrors folded to help with ergonomics and fuel consumption. super good good purchase.

OK, these type of mirrors are NOT for everyone. They also render useless dimming mirrors, but provide three distinct advantages:1) Position it so the left side of the mirror shows a direct view out the back (not your face), and when you do so, the middle to right side of the mirror provides a sweeping view from rear window across to your right side blind spot.2) This mirror allows you to keep your eyes forward by eliminating what is often multiple head turns to verify no one is in your blind spot.3) If you suffer from limitations turning your head as a result of anything from stiffness to cervical fusion, this mirror is very helpful, as you do not have to turn your head as many degrees, or as frequently.4) It makes any right turn with multiple lanes safer because you can monitor cars off to your right/in your blind spot. Essentially, it provides an alternative to modern blind spot sensors (on the right side.).DISCLAIMER: This mirror is not a replacement for driving carefully. Monitor traffic and the position of other vehicles around you, and use this mirror to add confidence as you drive, not replace being safe and responsible. It also does not serve to monitor your left side. I tried it, and when turned further to try this, you see yourself at all times, and the view out both sides of your blind spots is not adequate to make it worth it. So use it as I recommend, or don't buy it.

Seems like the people here have 20/10 hawkeye vision to be giving it a four or five star rating. There is a good reason rear view mirrors give you "Closer than it looks" feeling so you can react differently and drive with more caution if they look closer.This rear view mirror is nicely designed, but everything looks so FAR away. I have to squint or take a longer time to look at the cars in the mirror which defeats the purpose of safety for this stupid "blind spot" view since it is supposedly "wider" , but farther out. It may work in some vehicles, but I would prefer the images on the mirror to have the magnified effect, not the zoom far away effect.

Since surgery to fuse my neck, I have found it difficult and painful to see traffic approaching from the right when turning left with the car at an angle facing away from the oncoming traffic or when the road I am joining comes from an acute angle behind me. Extra mirrors attached to my wing mirrors have helped with other aspects of driving, but I had not managed to find a mirror to increase confidence and comfort for this one problem. This Fouring Wide Angle Mirror, attached to the dashboard above and slightly to the right of the steering wheel has solved the problem. It is large enough to give a wide view, infinitely adjustable and absolutely clear and the foot is able to flex slightly to allow sticking to the curve of the dashboard with the adhesive pad provided. Absolutely excellent - I can now look briefly when I arrive at the junction and again before moving off, but can see clearly in the mirror while waiting for a gap in the traffic.

This clip on mirror works very well to give you a great field of view and I think looks great. The only problem I had was the fact that it doesn't look like the picture on here. The one that I received was a complete rectangle rather than having the curved edges on the bottom. It still looks good. If your vehicle has the shaded upper windshield (like all vehicles do I think) you can't even notice it from the outside so don't worry about the clips showing in the back of the mirror. It's also very easy to put on, it just slides on from either side of the original rear view mirror.It holds on pretty well, one concern I had was rattling. Thankfully, even with the bass turned up all the way in my vehicle, it doesn't rattle at all. It shakes a lot as bass hits occur, but I'm positive so did your original rear view mirror.I really don't have too many complaints other than it's shape but I got over it relatively quickly.One last note though for this product, in smaller vehicles such as Ford Focus', Kia Fortes, Chevy Cruzes and so on, this mirror is far too big; but seems to work perfectly in full size sedans.

Arrived quickly and looks real cool. I put it on the dashboard and can then adjust it as needed. The sticky base holds well, the ball joints are quite stiff but I put a bit of vaseline on the top one. I have limited neck movement and with this and wide angle rear view plus added wing mirrors I have all angles covered. For just the blind spot this is ideal. This is not glass but it is very clear. Probably best not to have glass stuck on your dash or window struts.

I bought 2 of these, about 6 months apart. One went in the pickup, one in the car. The newer one in the car has broken at both swivel joints after a couple of months. I don't understand why as it is totally out of the way and won't interfere with anything on the car or the driver. I really want this to work and NOT BREAK as it really does a great job with the blind spot. If the second one had not broken this would be a 5 star review.Guess I'll order another and hope it lasts longer.

Nicely made and does the job but it is a lot smaller than I expected and wrongly sized in product description. The mirror itself is only 80mm wide and 75mm tall. Sort of three inches square.
