It looks good outside on the patio...for a week, then rusts. It works fine...if you're careful. It's too easy to insert longneck beer bottles too deeply, resulting in a broken bottle. It can be corrected with a well placed screw but seriously, I shouldn't have to fix the stupid thing.

We got this for our outdoor bar as the palm trees really completed the theme. I was a bit concerned about some of the reviews mentioning broken bottles, but decided to take a chance. We have had zero issues and I wonder if the people who are having issues are trying to use this as a hand held bottle opener as opposed to mounted? It has worked perfectly for us and caps drop nicely into the bottom cup.

It's a bottle opener that has some originality and fits with the area around the pool. Because it's two pieces it's a bit more of a challenge to mount in some locations. I ended up putting mine on a board and then mounting the board to the concrete block wall...less holes in the concrete.
