I bought a B+D MOUSE SANDER at ACE Hardware. The OEM replaceable tip and finger tip extension wore out in one day of hard sanding between 330 deck balusters. Finding replaceable tips was difficult. Here is how:For the finger extension type 582146-01, and for the standard tip type 90602498 (given to me by tech support). These tips appear to be interchangeable between sanders BDEMS200 (an older corded mouse sander), BDEMS200C the same sander apparently, BDEMS600 a corded sander with different handle than the 200/200C, and BDCMS20B the battery powered version. You can also get a platen without the replaceable tips type 90604245. If sanding with tips be careful, check tip temperature, because if used heavily the rubber pad between the plastic tip and the velcro patch will detach.

I refinish furniture, and the tip of my Black & Decker sander wears out. I am going to start buying these in bulk! Easy to change, work very well, and no more worry about replacing an expensive cordless sander - I just change the tip.

The tip of myBlack and Decker Mouse sander was worn so much the pads would not stick. I purchased the sander used and knew what it needed, to my surprise the part I needed was still available. The nose piece is so small I imagine it wears out faster.

I have a Black & Decker Mouse sander. This part of it broke (wore out) and I had a difficult time finding a replacement--except on Amazon! It was a perfect fit and now I'm back in business!

I couldn't find this product anywhere locally. So glad Amazon had it. Otherwise, Iād have to toss a perfectly well working mouse sander. This part fit perfectly into my Black Decker sander.
