Doubting these are truly stainless. Perhaps the first clue should be the price for the quantity. Second clue was the rust that was visible on these less than 3 months after installing on the vehicle. I live in Midwest US where we have snow and use salt; however, there had been hardly any of either when I first noticed the rust. The positive is the package quantity allows me to swap them out once they really start looking bad. May end up coating with a few coats of Rustoleum.
