40 Series Go Kart Torque Converter Kit w/ MOUNTING BACKPLATE

40 series go kart torque converter kit includes set of brand new high quality 40 Series 1" driver pulley, and driven clutch (5/8" OR 3/4" OR 7/8"-- choose your size per your installation), mounting back-plate with jack-shaft and 203785 belt. Plate is cut from 1/4" thick solid steel. Great for use on high performance engines with a 1" crankshaft diameter-- Ideal for Predator 420CC, GX 340/390, Briggs and Stratton, Vanguard V-Twins, Duromax, Powerhouse 420cc and Ironton 420cc.

  • Replacement for COMET 40 Series and many other engines:
    • COMET-- 209133, 209133A, 209139, 209139A, 209151, 209151A
    • FITS all 8HP-16HP engines with a 1" crankshaft with 1/4" keyway.
    • Works well for high performance Go Karts, ATVs and small off-road vehicles involving rough terrain, slopes, small hills, gravel.

Carefully set up 5 different times. Bought different weights and springs for driver pulley, still cannot get the belt stationary at idle. Perhaps a bad driver pulley as the belt it came with cannot sit in the pulley without being gripped by the sides. Even if not installed the belt seems too big for the driver pulley. Feel like I got a defective one.
