Looking to cut those brake hoses a little shorter? These fittings are what you need to attach the shortened hose to the brake lever. Buy this set if you wish to cut both your lines. This replacement part is designed to fit the BH90 high-power hydraulic brake hose, standard on most (2012-newer) Shimano MTB disc brakes. It is NOT compatible with any other hoses besides BH90. Please refer to Shimano's official technical instructions for proper hose shortening procedures.

I was a little bit worried that the olive would not seal properly being non-Shimano parts. the barb fitting and olive installed great with no hydraulic leaks.

It took more force than usual to fully insert the barb and once that was in, it increased the diameter of the brake hose enough that the olive would not slide over it. This kind of ruined my new brake install because I ended up having to let it sit until I could get the original Shimano parts and I ended up having to cut the line shorter than I wanted. I typically do not buy after market parts and this is why.
