Perfect size and fit. Holds the expansion tank to the wall. Best thing was it was a far better price than the box store plus I got two as a package deal.

The clamps were terrible, they popped out as soon as I tightened the screws and were so hard to screw back in that I finally decided to return them.

The stand is poor quality, every corner is sharp and almost scratched my tank after a couple of attempts, bad purchase!

These brackets are great. I mounted one very quickly behind an expansion tank that I had already plumbed a week earlier as I was installing a water heater. No need to disconnect the tank or otherwise disturb water lines. The mounting tab sticks up enough to run screws through it with a drill/driver without fighting water lines or the tank itself (You'll need to provide your own appropriate mounting screws.). The bracket and strap clamps are stainless steel, and the straps are plenty long enough to mount a 4.5-gallon tank but also worked easily for the 2-gallon tank I mounted. I'll buy these again.

This is not a complicated marvel of engineering. It is a simple process of securing the back plate to the wall and strapping in your expansion tank. It worked well for me and I had no problem securing my expansion tank. You get two mounts and that is perfect because we have two water heaters that I need to add expansion on. You can put the expansion tank on the pipe but I never liked the extra weight on the pipe. I can attach this to the wall and run PEX with a Tee to the expansion tank. The weight of the tank is supported by the mount attached to the wall. The kit comes with the bracket and the straps 2 for each mount.
