We are used to buying the Made By Me brand weaving refill. This brand is tighter and smaller and harder to work with for my 7 year old daughter. Yes you get more strands but it was more frustrating to work with.

Fit the loom as expected. My 7yo daughter loves these. She started by making the patterns shown, but now likes to make her own patterns. Good for pattern recognition/math. But also creativity - choosing the colors and orders and seeing what it creates.As a parent I love this “art” stuff that gets used up and doesn’t make a mess! Perfect birthday present!

I make masks for friends and family and use loom loops for the ears. It’s so difficult to find loom loops that are uniform in size, color, and texture. I think some companies just use the rejects from nylons. These are great, all the same, and don’t look used.

My granddaughter is making potholders with these on her small loom. These are a thicker quality loop than what came with the loom originally. Will be buying again.
