The sander and dust collection system work great. The clip that holds the bag closed can be a little frustrating at times . But it does hold it closed very good just tough to close after emptying the bag . Also the light switch has a delay at times before the light comes on . The light does a very nice job of lighting around the sander . The sander is a little loud but I usually wear a radio headset anyway.

I think this had potential for being a good product, however it does not attach to a shop vac to suck up the dust and the dust collection bag really does not work effectively. I contacted the seller to ask how to remove the hose from the bag and they were very nice, so bonus star for that, however they said I had to buy a separate attachment piece and use it with my shop vac. The shop vac does not have a long enough hose to reach the ceiling I am sanding. All of the other sanders listed on amazon, are easily usable with a shop vac. I have one of them. This product comes with the hose attached permanently to the bag. You have to cut it out to get the hose out. I dont think you should have to spend over a hundred dollars on a sander and not get the necessary pieces. This sander is over priced by half of what it should be. It should come with the bag detached, a universal attachment piece and a long enough hose to use on a ceiling. The sander is heavy to use overheard and does not collect dust effectively into the bag provided, as there is no sucking pulling the dust down. That is what the shop vac would do, suck up dust. So, unless you do not live where you will be working, this would not matter. If you live where you are sanding drywall mud, get ready to live on the moon. I am very disappointed. Nice email from sellers though. I do appreciate that.

This is a great machine for limited jobs or working in tight spaces. It's light and well balanced, and the soft-start avoids kickback. The vacuum is effective with minimal escaping dust. BN Products was a pleasure to deal with. Two non-critical parts were missing from the box and they shipped the replacements the same day they were notified.
