Works good. I just need to learn to manipulate my feet better.

I purchased these to help me slide into my shoes after knee surgery and they work great. I have one leg I can lift, bend, and manuver to get one foot in my shoes, but the other cannot bend quite as well, and these allow me to just step into my shoes without a problem.

I thought this would greatly simplify putting my shoes on. I was wrong. When I went to use them I realized that I had to slip my shoes on with a more or less horizontal motion to get the toes in first. Can't do that with these because of the high rise in the back. These require a more vertical approach to put the shoe on and that flat out did not work for me.Maybe they will work for someone at the local thrift shop.

I have a bone on bone hip so putting on my shoes is difficult. These looked like a great idea but, for my Keds, they didn’t work well

Was a little apprehensive when I read the reviews as I have had a stoke . My carers now find it easier to put my shoes on now and gave one to another stroke survivor to make sure you wears lace up shoes and she too loves and finds it easier now and always now wears lace up shoes

It is most useful on soft shoes like slippers where the heel doesn’t stay up while putting your foot into the slipper; however, the shoe horn is hard to spread open to get it on the heel but it is better than nothing. I would think that for someone assisting some one else who has limited mobility or agility these shoes horns would be helpful especially with the short handle.

I have a fused ankle so can’t ‘point’ my foot into slip-on shoes even with a shoe-horn.These work a treat and I can keep one in various places such as home, car, work etc.

I have wide feet, which my kids kindly refer to as Fred Flintstone feet. I've tried these helpers on several pairs of shoes, hoping that they would provide an easier shoeing experience than my traditional long-handled shoehorn. It didn't turn out that way. Mounting the device on the rear of a shoe was not easy because of the narrow space between the gripping pieces. Once the helper was in place, the width of my feet made it impossible for me to put my foot into a shoe without either dislodging the helper or contorting myself to work my foot into the shoe without such dislodging. Those with narrower feet may have a better experience. Mine have been returned to Amazon.
