I got this for the folding fishing seat in the open bow of my powerboat. I had the metal pedestal and seat, but I needed it to be able to swivel, so added this. The ball bearings do a nice smooth job of turning.This base is just over 6-inches square, suitable for most seats and pedestals. The premade screw or bolt holes are oblong which makes placement adjustable.It seems well made and I expect many years of use.

I made my own "custom" boat seat for my 14' Jon boat as the original seats are too low for me. I used this swivel mount so that I can fish and run my out board without having to twist my body. The mount worked great and makes my seat much more comfortable and usable.
