This tilt/trim works great easy to wire and mount I read people had trouble mounting just pop off top cover and mounting holes are underneath cover

Everyone is saying it's easy to mount but looks to me like you would have to drill holes through the two indentions in the back to get the screws into it. I wouldn't call that "easy" and it's an extra step that just seems like idiocy. I wouldn't have bought this if I had seen that it didn't have mounting holes pre-drilled or some type of mounting system bracket. It looks like it might be intended for use as a wired remote that you can move around the boat somehow.

Worked like a charm. Much cheaper than the original part. Motor trims up and down from the bow of my boat now.
