I've been using these straps for a couple of months and they work good. They are a little tricky to get the buckle to stay locked but I think this is because they have to be tight, if they are loose then the buckle won't stay. They have a small velcro strap to help keep the extra, loose end of the strap from fluttering in the wind and possibly rubbing on my boat. Overall I like them and would buy again.

“Honey,” she says, “Why is the boat bouncing on the trailer?” I pull over and discover that the Wuhan transom tie down straps have released but were still in place. We drive a little further and “Honey, the Gregor is bouncing again.” My solution is to duct tape the new strap buckles closed. I do this while parked in the highway breakdown lane while cars go screaming by.Should I complain? Of course not. You see, I saved $10 by buying these Wuhan tie-down straps. The cheaply made, poorly designed, zero quality control transom straps are offset buy the purchase savings! Yea for me!Seriously, the non latching problem is a result of seriously loose riveting, an out of tolerance bail and inadequately formed locking dimple on the clasp. These features can cause the buckle to release when jostled or normally pulled. An accidental or unexpected release can be dangerous, my friend.Of course, YMMV. But please, spend a few bucks more and buy pair of trusted, quality made, transom tie-downs. Maybe even a pair with Velcro over buckle security straps. Don't take a chance and waste your money and time on these.

A lighter duty version of the Belt Buckles I've purchased in the past, but the same great quality and exactly what I need to secure my RIB in its cradle. The buckle folds down securely and although I always re-check my tie-downs after travelling for awhile, I've yet to have one go "slack" to any great degree. A great product that I've always been happy to endorse, and I do so again.

They are exact replacements for 10 year old straps. They work great and are a good value for the money.

They're easy to use and work pretty well. They're definitely quicker than trying to mess with ratchet straps and the velcro wrap helps keep them neat both in use and when being stored. I haven't had them long enough to judge durability.
